Room On The Broom Breakfast Featuring The October Kids Box!

Our Party Peach Kids Box is inspired by one of my favorite Fall books, Room On The Broom. I pulled it out at the start of October and my children have read the book at least once every day. They also found the movie version - which is surprisingly super cute too! So when I got my hands on the October Party Peach Kids box I was instantly inspired and decided to surprise my kids with a Room On The Broom Breakfast Party - because well everyday is party day at the Party Peach Co!

First up was the table decor. The Kids Box included a fun set of printables so I knew I wanted to somehow suspend the super cute banner above the table. I found a broken broom stick in our garage and painted it black. Then I took a package of raffia to make the end and used fishing line and command hooks to hang it from the ceiling. Obviously not going to be doing much cleaning with this broom but it did the trick just fine!

I'm all about shopping what you have so I was super excited to find this fun buffalo check paper roll that I had left from last year's Thanksgiving. I layered in a cheap plastic purple table cover and used the printable poster as placemats. I LOVE the way the buffalo check, purple, and orange go together!

Next up was the food. I served up some of their favorite breakfast foods including, eggs, bacon, and fruit. But I will say these fun donut stacks stole the show! I found these super cute witch hat sticks from Dollar Tree and simply stacked the donuts and set the witch hat sticks in the middle. So fun and so easy!

Also included with the printables was these super cute character cutouts. It's been so fun seeing how all of you have used these. I've seen them used as cupcake toppers, turned into popsicle stick puppets, and as you see I used them to spruce up our straws!

I love a pretty party as much as the next person, but its so much more important to me that the actual experience of the party to be the best part! So I took all the goodies that came in our Party Peach Kids Box and turned them into these super cute "Boo" Baskets. I found these cauldron baskets on amazon and filled it up with all of our goodies. I even used the filler from the box to fill up the basket! Reuse! Reuse people! lol

We had magical treats, made our own witches brew, read the book, watched the movie, and had a spell of a time! It was so fun watching them concentrate so intently on crafting their mini cauldrons and then grab their wand and hat and set out on adventure!
